Matt Zimak For family businesses

AI for family businesses with several companies.

One family, several companies, and every decision lands on the same few people. I put the money, the meetings and what the group knows in one place, with access set per person, so the owners decide with the numbers in front of them.

Where it hurts.

What runs first.

Invoices to live finance
Every invoice read, checked and filed per company, a daily payment list with QR codes, costs and revenue in one dashboard. See how it runs
Meetings per company
Every recorded call summarised into the right company's channel, with the tasks that came out of it.
A terminal for the owner
One question, answers with sources from the group's mail, chats, documents and payments. See how it runs

A typical start.

  1. Days 1 to 3

Interviews with the people who run the process, every input and output mapped.

  2. Week 2

The written plan: the top three automations scoped with cost, timeline, owner and payoff. One decision meeting.

  3. Weeks 3 to 6

The build. The top three ship, with logs, retries and a handover document.

  4. After

Your team runs it. I stay on call monthly if you want that, or the fractional seat takes over.

Running today.

A family business group with four companies runs all three, with me as its fractional AI lead, on a company brain that every meeting updates.

How it is priced.

The audit is a fixed fee, credited to the build if you go ahead. Every build is scoped from the audit, never priced blind. A fractional seat is a monthly retainer with a three-month minimum. You hear the numbers on the intro call, before anything starts.

Who this is for.

Family businesses and family offices that already work and want to grow without growing headcount. Non-technical is fine: you know your business, I bring the systems.

Not a fit: enterprise procurement, a software product to build, or being subcontracted through a middleman.

Questions I get before the call.

Does it work across all our companies?

Yes. Each company keeps its own records and its own view, and the owners see all of them together. Access is set per role.

Do we have to change our accounting or invoicing tools?

Mostly not. It works with your inboxes, your accounting export and an invoice-reading tool; if you have none, the audit says which one and why.

How much of our time does it take?

One person who knows the process, about an hour a week during the audit and the first build. After that, the review cadence we agree on. Everything is written down, so the knowledge stays with you.

Start with the audit.

Two weeks on the process that hurts most, a written plan you own, and the fee credited to the build. Or start with a fifteen-minute call.
